Hi this is is Ashley resident Curly Hair Expert 🙂 ,
Every curly hair girl knows the struggles of second day hair. Wetting your hair, scrunching, re-adding
products; basically doing everything you can to get that definition you had on day one without the
frizz. And not every product out there is able to do that. Not everyone can achieve that elusive
second day hair and if you’re like me, you will end up putting your hair in a bun or ponytail because it was
just too frizzy. But there is one product out there that I standby when it comes to second day hair.

Jane Carter Solution Quench. What is it?
The Hydrate Quench is a water- based botanical leave in conditioner designed to restore and
reactivate curls while restoring hair to moisture and scalp for all hair types. Let’s call a spade a
spade shall we? It’s a curl hydrator. It comes in an 8 oz spray bottle, very convenient and has a citrus
scent.
What does it do?
The Curl Hydrator reactivates and redefines curls while providing moisture. Bonus it can be used as a
de-tangler and heat protectant when flat ironing or blow-drying.
I remember when I bought the entire Jane Carter Solutions Curls to Go line and I decided to buy the
curl hydrator from their first line, cause at the time I was completely out of products so I found them
on amazon and after reading a couple comments decided to go for it. It wasn’t bad the entire line is
great if you like water-based products, it was very runny in my opinion, but you could tell by the
texture it was water-based.
But this product really stood out to me, I finished the first bottle in less than a month, I was obsessed
with it. It was the first curl hydrator I had used that worked and I sprayed it in my hair every day. Even
when I finished the entire product line I was just focused on this curly hydrator and came that glorious
day I saw it in my local hair store I literally jumped for joy and everyone looked on me like I was
crazy. Thinking back on it if I was smart I would’ve bought like 6 bottles.
It has 4.2 out of 5 stars on Amazon with over 50% positive reviews. You can get it at your local
beauty supply store, Walmart, Target, Amazon, eBay and pretty much anywhere. For an 8 oz bottle
it is priced somewhere around $7-$10.
How do you use it?
It is very easy to apply because of the convenient spray bottle the hydrator comes in, all you have to do
is spray it in and shake out your hair, you will literally see your curls redefining and will be tempted
to touch your hair. Very simple yes I know.
What’s in it?
